Shawarma-Style Chicken Salad
- 2 Chopped tomatoes.
- 1 cup of chopped cucumber .
- 4-5 leaves of chopped lettuce.
- 1/2 cup of chopped black olives.
- 3/4 cup of corn.
- 1/2 cup of Bulgarian/feta cheese
- a drizzle of olive oil
- salt
- 1 lemon
- For the Chicken Shawarma:
- 1/2 chicken breast, cut into cubes.
- 1 clove of garlic - minced.
- 1/2 table spoon of cooking oil
- salt & black pepper, according to taste.
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of Shawarma seasoning (combine together: garlic powder, cumin, turmeric, paprika, cayenne pepper & black pepper)
- heat the cooking oil in a pan.
- meanwhile, add all seasonings to the chicken breast and blend well.
- add the minced garlic to the hot oil
- wait about 15 seconds and add the chicken breast. cook till it's ready.
- take it off the fire, and let it cool down for about 7 minutes.
- Add the chicken breast to the salad.
